Positions Available

CNC Machinist – Lathe Set Up & Operator (Day & Night Shift)

  • Read, interpret and follow blueprints, geometrical tolerance, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Experience with tight tolerance machining up to “.0001 is preferred.
  • Able to operate CNC lathes. Okuma, Hardinge and Mori Seiki experience is a plus.
  • Programming with Mastercam.
  • Experience with FANUC controls.
  • Trouble shoot problems independently, and ability to help fellow machinists.
  • Ability to operate CMM Machine and interpret data to ensure parts are manufactured according to specification and blue print call outs.
  • Able to utilize calipers and manual measurement tools to conduct data checks that cannot be verified via CMM output.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

CNC Machinist – Milling Set Up & Operator (Day & Night Shift)

  • Read, interpret and follow blueprints, geometrical tolerance, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Experience with tight tolerance machining up to “.0001 is preferred.
  • Able to operate 3 – 5 axis CNC mills. Matsuura and Okuma experience are a plus.
  • Programming with Mastercam.
  • Experience with FANUC controls.
  • Trouble shoot problems independently, and ability to help fellow machinists.
  • Ability to operate CMM Machine and interpret data to ensure parts are manufactured according to specification and blue print call outs.

CMM Programmer Day Shift

Summary

Responsible for the operation, inspection and programming of the CMM, training others to use the CMM for production runs, the analysis and interpretation of blueprints, manuals and other materials to determine specifications, to inspect and test procedures, and to communicate technical information.

Duties:

  • Operate CMM machines and maintain CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
  • Perform all programming of the CMM machines, OFFLINE, using ZEISS Calypso software from Model Based Definition and 2D drawing.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods.
  • Collect and analyze inspection data and make computations as necessary to determine inspection results and perform first article inspections.
  • Communicate information to others about inspection results, part status, updates, specific instructions, etc. and participate in PFMEA activities.
  • Determines product suitability for shipment for company and customer
  • Work closely with Engineering on related issues, including MSA, Gage R-N-R, and statistical studies
  • Plan and work as a key member of the production team to ensure high quality product and on time delivery.
  • Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.
  • Other duties, reporting, special assignments or projects as needed and assigned

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience programming with Zeiss Calypso software
  • Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D Models
  • Functional understanding of GD&T, and Math (including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry)
  • Skilled in use of inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, height gages
  • CMM programming experience (Calypso software is preferred, but not required)
  • Computer Literate: Windows, Excel, Word and familiar with an ERP software
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • 5 years manufacturing inspection experience
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision

 

Education, Certifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Deburr Technician (Day Shift)

  • Set up and operate hand tool equipment to ensure parts are smooth and finished to customer specifications.
  • Clean parts and visually inspect using gauges and measuring equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Position requires overtime as scheduled to meet production needs.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and basic hand tools.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints is a plus but not required.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications.
  • Communicate and interact with others in a professional manner as well as maintain a clean work area.
